Jamie L. Bozinski, 61, of Nanticoke passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital following an illness. Born November 15, 1961 in Coudersport, she was a daughter of the late James Pfuntner and the late Grace (Nancy) Rees. A resident of Nanticoke all of her life, Jamie graduated from John S. Fine High School, class of 1979 and attended Wilkes College. She was married to Robert L. Bozinski for over twenty-five years until his passing on August 13, 2019. Prior to raising her daughter, Zoe, she was employed by the American Red Cross, Hanover Township and Warnick-Pomeroy, Wilkes-Barre. She last worked for the call center at Lord & Taylor, Wilkes-Barre Township until 2018. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Nanticoke. Jamie loved collecting Flamingos. She enjoyed spending time with family, shopping, watching tv, reading books, attending yard sales and sporting events of loved ones. She had a love for Knoebels, The Bloomsburg Fair, and Atlantic City. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends, especially her daughter and best friend, Zoe. She is survived by her daughter, Zoe Bozinski, of Nanticoke; a sister, Julie Hummer and husband Francis, of West Pittston; nieces, Sarah Ball and husband Brian, of Nanticoke; and Melissa Sobeck of West Pittston; Great nieces and nephews, Brinley Sobeck, Aiden Ball, Ava Fedak, Ethan Ball, Dylon Ball, Lexi Ball, and Londyn Sobeck; aunt, Mildred Plummer, of Jenkintown; many cousins; and honorary grandson Jayvion. Special thanks to Dr. James Martino and all the nurses and CNAs that cared for her during her illness. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday from Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke, with Elder Jack Watkins, family friend, officiating. Interment will be at Hanover Green Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing and visitation hours, Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her daughter, Zoe.
