Shirley Dillon, 88, of Nanticoke passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023 a patient at Lakewood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Sheatown. She resided at Oplinger Towers until entering the nursing home in February, 2022. Born in Nanticoke on May 26, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Bessie Dillon. Shirley was employed in the local garment industry for many years prior to retiring, and had attended First Primitive Methodist Church, Nanticoke. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Dillon Jr., and a sister, Mary Sepkowski. Surviving are her nephews, Mark Sepkowski and wife, Linda, University Park, FL, and Eric Sepkowski; a niece and two great-nieces. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday from Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke with the Rev. Joseph Roach, pastor of First Primitive Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Nanticoke Cemetery.
