Obituary of William Vincent

William M. Vincent, 77, of Alden, passed away Thursday September 14, 2023 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Nescopeck Township.
Born July 30, 1946 in Nanticoke he was the son of the late Beatrice Vincent Dady.
Bill was a member of the Laborers union and was employed in construction for many years until retiring. He served with Battery B, First Battalion, 109th Artiliary, Pennsylvania Army National Guard from 1963 until his discharge in 1969. Among other groups, he belonged to the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 834, Nanticoke. Bill enjoyed the simple things in life and could be seen most days doing what he loved, riding his motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by his son, William Jr. on Jan. 2, 1998. Also, by his companion of eighteen years, Barbara Sivulich in 2005.
Surviving are his children, John Vincent; Lisa Brock; Sherry Erwine and her husband, James; and Malissa Hayston; grandchildren; Justin Vincent, Mark Balliet, Mary Balliet, April and James Erwine; Josh Purcel, Kenneth Balliet, Arthur Hayston, and Alicia and Zack Vincent; several great-grandchildren; and his former wife, Joan Vincent. He is also survived by stepchildren, Karen and Marc Lipowski and Fred Sivulich; step grandchildren, Freddy Sivulich, and Amanda and Jenna Lipowski.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m. from Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke with the Rev. Timothy Hall, officiating.
Friends and family may call for viewing and visitation hours from 5 p.m. until the time of the service Wednesday.
