Rosemary J. Golomb, 93, of Buttonwood, Hanover Township, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 at Lakewood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Sheatown, surrounded by her daughters and nurses. Born September 14, 1930 in Shrewsbury, England, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Mabel Chamberlain of England. She moved to The United States in 1946 and was a 1949 graduate of Coughlin High School. Rose was employed by A. Rifkin Company and Alta Footwear before retiring in 1985. “Rosie” was a member of Exaltation of the Holy Cross Church, Buttonwood where she was involved in various organizations and church activities, especially the annual church bazaar. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, with whom she shared forty-three years of marriage; sisters, Margaret and Beryl, and son-in-law, Keith “Skip” Bonham. Surviving are her daughters: Ann Richards and husband, Dale, Newport Township, and Donna Bonham, Raleigh NC., grandchildren: Keith Bonham and wife Angela, Kari Bonham and fiancé, Anthony, and her two special great grandchildren, Harper and Brennan Bonham all of North Carolina. A special thanks for the exceptional and loving care provided by all the nurses, aids, and therapists at Lakewood, especially April, Marissa, Tara, Janelle, Jen, and Nikita. The family will receive friends and relatives from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Exaltation of the Holy Cross Church, 420 Main Road, Buttonwood, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m. with The Reverend Richard Cirba, her pastor, as celebrant. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Rosemary’s name to Exaltation of the Holy Cross Church.
