Linda M. Pryce, 84, of Hunlock Creek, formerly Hanover Township, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Allied Services Hospice Unit, Meade St. Wilkes-Barre. Born August 3, 1940, in Askam, she was a daughter of the late Rowland and Margaret Myzick Metcalf. She graduated from Hanover Memorial High School, class of 1958, and attended Luzerne County Community College to receive her certificate in their office management program. She was a member of the Askam United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, and husband, Bertram Pryce, she was preceded in death by her sister, Gertrude Rowett. Linda is survived by her children, Linette Pechulis and her husband John, Ivor Richards and his wife, Elaine, Luanne Iftikhar and her husband, Asif, Lori Richards, and Bertram Pryce; 9 grandchildren, including her granddaughter, Kathryn Pryce, who was her caretaker; 2 great grandchildren; her brother, Gerald Metcalf; and nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. from Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 East Broad Street, Nanticoke, with the Rev. Craig Mark, Pastor of Askam United Methodist Church, officiating. Viewing and visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the time services begin. The Family requests those attending to wear bright colors in Linda’s memory. Interment will follow in Edgehill Cemetery, West Nanticoke.
