Kim Collette Lloyd, 55, passed away November 1, 2024. Our beloved baby sister was born November 12, 1968 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL to parents, the late Marilyn L Lloyd and Ronald W Lloyd. Kim grew up with us in Ft Lauderdale and is a graduate of Ft Lauderdale High School. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Vocational Rehabilitation counseling from the University of Florida in Gainesville. She spent most of her career passionately caring for veterans and advocating for them as she worked for the Veterans Administration. She called those she helped, her veterans. She enjoyed more than 27 years in this career which was truly a labor of love for her. She mentored many and trained countless others traveling all over the US and Puerto Rico. She was referred to as a legend at the VA. Kim had several hobbies which included tennis and scuba diving. She enjoyed playing a variety of video games. She followed many different sports but there was only one team at the top of her list; her beloved Florida Gators. She touched the lives of so many people. Kim cared deeply for family, friends and so many more. She never met a stranger. Her joy and sense of humor attracted others to her. She knew all of us. She cared enough to remember the details. She left us too soon but she will never be forgotten. Memories of our baby sister are precious. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Hanover Green Cemetery in Hanover Township, PA at 2:00 in the afternoon, with burial immediately following. Arrangements are in the care of Dinelli Family Funeral Home, Nanticoke.
