Rouxann Weitz, 68, of Nanticoke, passed away Friday, June 20, 2025 at Allied Services Hospice Center, Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre, after a brief illness. Born June 5, 1957 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Nora (Deer) DeSantis. She was a member of Nebo Baptist Church, Nanticoke, where she married her husband, Gerald on January 3, 2008. In her spare time, Rouxann loved crocheting, fly fishing, walking and hiking in the woods, playing Bingo and going out to eat pizza. She liked baking and cooking, and her favorite dishes were chicken and meatloaf. She will be remembered as a friend to anyone and everyone she met. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her brother, Fred Deer. Surviving is her husband of 17 years, Gerald T. Weitz; her daughter, Loretta Mosser, and her companion, Jason; her son, James Mosser; her siblings, Geraldine Collins and her husband, Thamer, Leonora Michalski and her husband, Louis, Louis DeSantis, Thomas DeSantis, and Michael DeSantis and his wife, Karla; a sister in law, Jean Nataline; as well as several nieces and nephews. There will be no public calling hours or services. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in the care of Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E.
