Mary Ann (Cookie) Kollar, 75, of Park Towers, Nanticoke, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Residential Hospice In-patient Unit, Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre following a lengthy illness. Born January 14, 1945 in Nanticoke, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Anna Plencner Cragle. Prior to retiring, she was sewing machine operator in the garment industry for many years. She was employed by Luzerne Outerwear, Salem Township, Plymouth Dress, Nanticoke and last at Coronet, South Wilkes-Barre. Cookie was a lifelong member of St. John’s Slovak Lutheran Church, Nanticoke. She also attended Nebo Baptist Church with her family where she enjoyed volunteering with Vacation Bible School for many years. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerome and John Cragle. She will be deeply missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Jay Munson; grandchildren, Keith and Shelby Munson, all of Nanticoke and great granddaughter, Hope Gould. She is also survived by sisters, Loretta Blackburn and husband, Arthur of Shickshinny and Christine Stankevitch and husband, Charles of Nescopeck Township; a sister-in-law, Charlotte Cragle of Shickshinny as well as nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held at St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Hobbie, with the Rev. Timothy Hall, pastor of Nebo Baptist Church, officiating. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in Mary Ann’s memory to St. John’s Slovak Lutheran Church, 604 S. Hanover Street, Nanticoke.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Hobbie. There will be no public viewing or calling hours.
