Rosemary T. Bukowski, 84, of Nanticoke passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
She is survived by her husband, John, with whom she shared sixty-four years of marriage.
Born August 30, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Rose Podolec Czyzyk. Rosemary graduated from St. Vincent’s High School, Plymouth and received her nurses training at Pittston Hospital School of Nursing. Prior to retiring, she was employed at the former Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Rosemary was an active parishioner of St. Faustina Kowalska Parish, Nanticoke.
In addition to her husband, John, she is survived by children, Debbie Kearney, Swoyersville; Kathy Storm and husband, Bob, Warminster; Jack Bukowski and wife, Arlene, Hunlock Creek; six grandchildren: Nicole Kearney and husband, Chris Zier; Sean Kearney and wife Caitlyn; Eric Storm and wife, Alli; Julie Rossillo and husband, Tim; Ian Bukowski and fiancée, Lauren Catina; and Cody Bukowski; three step grandchildren, Cassandra Stanton, Candice Gormley, and Abigail Holt; three great-grandchildren Loughton, Wyatt, and Carson, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will begin 9:30 a.m. Monday from Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Faustina Kowalska Parish, 520 S. Hanover Street, Nanticoke.
Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Sheatown.
Viewing and visitation hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
