Albina T. Zypaj, 86, of Honey Pot section of Nanticoke passed away Monday, November 16, 2020 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. A life-long resident of Nanticoke she was a daughter of the late Leon and Anastasia Piontkowski Jezewski. She married Richard Zypaj on June 18, 1955 and shared nearly 63 years of marriage until his death on April 26, 2018. Albina was employed by Paramount Theater as an office manager for many years. She later had the same position in several clothing factories in the area. She loved her home and enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends. No one ever left hungry, or without a care package of food to take home. She was a member of St. Faustina Kowalska Parish, Nanticoke and formerly St. Stanislaus Church for most of her life. In addition to her parents and husband, Richard, she was preceded in death by a brother, Leon Jezewski; a sister, Helen Robachefski and nephew, Ronald Jezewski. Surviving is her brother, Stanley Jezewski as well as many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and will miss her. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, April 16, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Faustina Kowalska Parish, primary site, 520 S. Hanover Street, Nanticoke with the Rev. James R. Nash, as celebrant..
