Agnes M. Danilowicz, 83, of Hunlock Creek, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021 at The Gardens at Tunkhannock with her daughter, Mary Ann at her side. She was a patient there since February. Born November 15, 1937 in Plymouth, she was a daughter of the late Milton and Cecelia (Minnick) Fink. She married Chester Danilowicz on July 25, 1959. They found employment and moved to Rahway, NJ for a few years before returning to the area. In addition to being a housewife, Agnes worked outside the home for American Tobacco, Kingston, many years waitressing at W.T. Grant and K-Mart at the Hanover Mall as well as Yuengling Ice Cream there, and by Nordozza’s Catering and Pizza Shop in Nanticoke. Agnes enjoyed children, her doggies, going to the casino, Bingo, church bazaars, going out to dinner, and especially Sunday dinner and rummy with her family. She was a member of St. Faustina Kowalska Parish, Nanticoke. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Bernice Theos, Janice Kratz, Dorothy Wojinski and Cecelia Supchak. She will be deeply missed. Surviving is her husband, Chester with whom she shared 61 years of marriage; a daughter, Mary Ann Hebda and husband, Joseph of Dallas; a grandson, Jacob Hebda; a brother, Milton Fink Jr. and wife, Gloria of Hunlock Creek and numerous nieces and nephews. A private blessing service will be held at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Shawn Simchock, officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. There will be no public viewing or calling hours.
