To Leonard's family,
For some unknown reason I was moved to Google Pawlowski Studio today and discovered Leonard's passing. Besides our being the poor neighbors at Lake Nuangola, the Pawlowskis always seemed so classy, I most remember looking at the recent photos that were always displayed in the window of the studio on the square. I mean, I was really interested in those photos! I thought being a photo studio owner was definitely cool. I visited Leonard during the period that he managed his dad's studio. It was about the time that I opened my own studio. We had fun sharing about photography for a few hours that day so long ago. I'm still full time in the business. My studio is in Mesa, AZ. If any of the Pawlowskis ever find themselves in the Phoenix area, I hope you will give me a call. We can meet at the studio and do lunch afterward. You'll be able to see how your family inspired me to choose my life profession. Unfortunately, I never became as "Classy" as Leonard's dad with his signature pencil mustach and all!
I wish you all the best at this time and thanks again for the inspiration your family provided me and mine,
Lou Coopey

Faye,
My sincere condolences to you and your family. My memories of Len go way back to childhood in Nanticoke—Sunday school, sitting behind his family in church, and all the years at Wyoming Seminary. It will be hard to think that he's no longer living across the river up there at the Terrace.

My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your daughters.
I was in the first pledge class 1B AND became instant friends with Len.
We had some good times for sure.
So you know, Delta Pi will do a toast to Len at a given time where we will raise the Silver Goblet with the DEATA PI up on it..and we will toast one of our founding brothers passing.
I saw Len at the 50th anniversary of the founding of Delta Pi. It was awesome seeing him and talking to him.
I was proud and honored to have him as a brother and will think of him and our days at BLOOMSBURG STATE COLLEGE.
