Please share a memory of Kathy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kathy M. Zoltewicz, 64, of Nanticoke, loving wife and mother, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 with her family at her side, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center after her courageous battle with lung cancer. Born October 10, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Peter (Sharky) and Florence Gruber Sirak. Kathy was raised in Hanover Township and graduated from Hanover Area High School, class of 1975. Her career of over forty years, was dedicated to the former Mercy Hospital and later Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. She loved her job and always spoke highly of all her beloved co-workers. She was a member of Holy Transfiguration of Our Lord Ukrainian Catholic Church, Hanover section of Nanticoke and was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan, rarely missing a game. She loved to shop, buy scratch-off lottery tickets, and spend time with her family. Kathy always looked forward to “crab runs” to Maryland and Delaware. Surviving is her husband of forty years, Thomas Zoltewicz; daughters, Tiffany and Tara; a brother and a sister; as well as other family and friends. We will miss her kind, thoughtful soul very much. Family and friends may call for visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Davis-Dinelli Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke. The Rev. Walter Pasicznyk, her pastor, will have Parastas at 7 p.m.
