Teresa (Terry) Zalinski Rusczyk, 74, of Alden, passed away early Monday morning, July 4, 2022 with her loving husband, Albert by her side. Born April 27, 1948 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Teofil and Irene Kloss Zalinski. She was a graduate of Hanover Memorial High School and attended Wilkes College. Terry was a bookkeeper for most of her working life, starting her career at Pomeroy’s Department Store in Wilkes-Barre. She also worked in Philadelphia and Allentown where she and Albert lived for many years before moving back to this area in 2004. She is survived by her husband, Albert with whom she celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on June 6; a daughter, Karen, wife of Chad Miller; grandsons, Brayden and Colton Jack; and cousins. Terry was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, cousin and friend. I addition to her grandsons, she loved her cats dearly, and her trips to the casino. The latter resulted in a very lucrative pastime because of her skill in playing the slot machines. Private funeral services will be held from Davis-Dinelli Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township. There will be no public viewing or visitation hours.
