Thomas E. Kline,72, of Nanticoke passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Birchwood Rehabilitation Center, Nanticoke. Thomas was born July 28, 1950 in Nanticoke. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1969 with the rank of Private First Class. Prior to retiring, he was self- employed for over 30 years. Thomas was an avid outdoorsman, spending time camping, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed casino trips with his wife and spending time with family and friends. He had a big heart, kind spirit and loving soul. He was a great Dad and Pop-Pop. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of forty-three years, Donna Marie (Hunlock) Kline, his father, Hurl E. Kline, his mother, Sophie (Jenceleski) Kline, father-in-law, Edward Hunlock, mother-in-law, Esther (Thomas) Hunlock, brothers-in-law, David, Clarence, and Richard Hunlock; a sister-in-law, Kimberly Hunlock, and a niece, Melissa Marie Kline. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Marie (Kline) Kivler and son-in-law Joseph Kivler; a grandson, Matthew Kivler; a granddaughter, Madison Kivler; sisters, Stasia Kotch, Julie McLaughlin, Loretta Roushey, and Michelle Romanowski; brothers James Kline and Eugene Kline; and many nieces and nephews. We would like to thank and express our gratitude to the caregivers of both Birchwood Rehabilitation Center and Compassionate Care Hospice for their care and compassion for Thomas in his final weeks. There is another huge piece of our hearts missing. Until we meet again, know we love and miss you always. Private interment with military honors will be in Edgehill Cemetery, West Nanticoke.
