James and Justin, just picked up our local paper and read of your Mom passing. Watching both of you grow up, I saw a Mom who was always your Number 1 Fan. She was so proud of both of you and was always advocating on your behalf. Can't say enough about her love and devotion to both of you. So very sorry for your loss.
With much sympathy, Mr. Mulhern

Not only did Linda raise her two sons, but among other things, she was a billet mom for the Wilkes Barre Knights hockey organization for years. She took in several boys, including our son, Shane. They say it takes a village to raise a child. Linda and Ted were part of the village in raising our son. Shane decided to pursue his dreams of being a hockey player by moving to Wilkes Barre at the tender age of 15. He was placed in the hands of Linda and Ted. That year Linda ended up with three boys- Cody, Marcus and our son. WOW--We can never repay her!! She made several sacrifices and was so committed to those boys. She drove them to and from practices and games, made them meals and kept them on schedule.
Shane returned to Wilkes-Barre for the 2019/20 season to play for the Knights Junior Team. She housed two boys that year--Mike and our son again. They could drive which relieved Linda from driving but at age 19 I am not sure it was any easier.
She was so dedicated to taking care of Ted. She made sure Ted experienced life to the fullest. Such a loving, giving and thoughtful person.
Linda and Ted made a three hour drive to attend our sons graduation from Trinity-Pawling in the summer of 2019. What a great pair! Until we meet again. Thank you Linda from the bottom of our hearts.
