Obituary of Marian (Myers) Horn

Please share a memory of Marian to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Marian (Myers) Horn, born March 6, 1935, moved on to her heavenly home peacefully in her sleep on Sunday evening. We thank God that she is now home with Him and her loved ones who moved on to paradise before her. We are confident that there is great rejoicing in heaven as she is again with her loving husband William A. Horn ‘Bill’ whom she married on October 1, 1955, and shared her life with for 60 years before his passing in 2016 and Lynn Ruth Horn her daughter who passed in infancy. Also at the heavenly party are Marian’s mom, Laura Joyce (Kennedy) Myers, her dad, William Myers, her sister, Jean (Myers) Pratt, and her brothers, Herman, Raymond, David, and William Myers. Marian lived a joy filled life as a loving mother to Jill (Horn) O’Brien and Bruce Horn, a loving mother-in-law to Tom O’Brien and Cintra Horn, a loving grandmother to TJ Brown and his wife Sara, Chris O’Brien and his wife Gina, Cristian Horn, Dominic Horn, and Ledanian Horn. And, last but definitely not least, a loving great-grandmother to Ruby and Violet O’Brien, and Corbin and Emilee Brown. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, James Horn. Marian’s service on this earth also included a full life as a bookkeeper, a Sunday School teacher, and a musician. She found great satisfaction in serving at the Nanticoke Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and the Nanticoke Nebo Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held 6 p.m. Friday from Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad St., Nanticoke with the Rev. Timothy G. Hall, her pastor, officiating. Friends may call for viewing and visitation hours Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
