James A. Wallace, 90, of Nanticoke, formerly Hunlock Creek, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Birchwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Nanticoke. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Marion (Mary) Rittenhouse, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage until her death on May 3, 2007. Born February 16, 1933, he was the son of the late Albert and Ruth (Crane) Wallace. James served in the United States Marine Corp., going on to work most of his life before retiring from Lippert Component Manufacturing, Inc., McAdoo. Surviving James, are nieces nephews; Kenneth Rittenhouse and wife, Judy; Joan West; Linda Meeker, Marcia Lusky and husband, Ed; Darlene Pinkowski, Mary Ellen Wildoner; and Charles Shields and wife, Sandy. Private services will be held at the family’s convenience. There will be no public viewing or calling hours. Arrangements are in the care of Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street Nanticoke.
