Ada A. Kozlowski, 79, of Jackson Township, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.

Born May 17, 1944 in Nanticoke, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Margaret Russell Rule. Early in life she resided in Wanamie and was a graduate of Newport Township High School.

Ada began employment with RCA, Mountain Top, in 1961 and remained at the plant until her retirement in 2008. She and her husband, Eugene lived in Nanticoke until the 1972 flood, when they settled in Jackson Township.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Eugene Kozlowski Jr. in 2011; and brothers, Mal, Raymond, and Richard Rule.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Eugene Kozlowski Sr., with whom she shared nearly 60 years of marriage; a daughter, Melissa Pesta and her husband, Steve; and a grandson, Brandon Kozlowski, all of Jackson Township; a brother, Robert Rule and his wife, Debbie, of Wanamie, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in Sorber Cemetery, Reyburn.

There will be no public viewing or calling hours.
