Obituary of Joseph Bobbin
Please share a memory of Joseph to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Our Dad, Joseph J. Bobbin, passed away on February 16, 2024. He is now with his beautiful wife, Elizabeth, who died in 2021. We will forever miss him but we know that
they are finally together again in heaven.
Dad was in love with Mom until the end. She was the love of his life. They shared
over six decades as husband and wife and always stayed by each other’s side. Together, they had three children, Deborah, Patricia, and Joseph. As their family
expanded, they welcomed eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
We always cherished Sunday dinners with Mom and Dad, as well as all the holidays and family get-togethers. We were a close family thanks to them. Our home was full of love and food, and we spent many days enjoying lunch and dinner, or just coffee and conversation.
Dad was the smartest and strongest person that we have known. He helped with
everything. He was our support, whether it was homework, car troubles, home
improvements, or personal issues. Dad was a vocational teacher and spent many
years working for the state and Wilkes-Barre Vo-Tech. After retiring, he enjoyed
spending time with family and friends, and always loved going to the range, his second
home. We will always remember when he took his entire family on vacation to Cancun,
and insisted on paying for everything. He was very proud and had great love for his
family.
His parents, Joseph and Ruth, will now be welcoming him, as well as his brother,
Michael. He is survived by his sister, Janet.
Dad, we will always love you and miss you forever. Someday we will join you and Mom, but until then we will always keep you in our hearts.
We love you Dad, Debbie, Patti, and Joe.
There will be no public viewing or calling hours.
