Obituary of Jennifer Voyton

Jennifer L. Voyton, 51, of Nanticoke passed away Thursday, May 2nd, 2024 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia where she was a patient since April 14th.
Born January 1st, 1973, she was the daughter of the late John and Jean Mikolaitis Kubasik. She was raised by her aunt, Maryann Gesecki, who survives. She married Norman B. Voyton Jr. in 1994 and would have celebrated their 30th anniversary on June 11th.
Jennifer was a graduate from John S. Fine High School, Nanticoke with the class of 1990 and was employed by the Social Security Administration, Wilkes-Barre for the past twenty-six years.
She was a member of St. Faustina Kowalska Parish, Nanticoke.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her uncle, Edmund Gesecki and an aunt, Jean Kubasik Stryczynski.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Norman, and aunt, Maryann, is her daughter, Alyssa Voyton; a cousin, Carol Yash and her son, Randy Yash, Nanticoke; mother-in-law, Joyce Wilson, Hanover Township; sister-in-law, Julie Hernandez and husband, Manuel, Lyndwood; and a niece and nephew, Cassie and Cameron Rittenhouse.
A Blessing Service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday from Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E, Broad Street, Nanticoke, with Deacon Florian Gyza, officiating.
Friends and family may call for visitation from 6 p.m. until time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
