Amity M. Potichko, 51, wife of Paul Potichko Jr., of the Korn Krest Section of Hanover Township, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday December 18, 2024, at her home. She was born July 30, 1973 at Berwick Hospital. Her parents are Gail Hittle, of Shickshinny, and James Hittle, of Hunlock Creek. Amity graduated from/attended Northwest Area Highschool, graduating in 1991. She was employed for several years at the UFCW Credit Union, as a teller, and more recently at the Easy Express, formerly Choices, on the Sans Souci Highway, Hanover Township. She enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and listening to music. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and enjoyed playing yahtzee, among other board games. Amity’s most cherished time was the time spent with her family. She was preceded in death by her son, Dakohta Keefe Potichko, in 2020, and her brother, Eric Eisenhauer in 1996. In addition to her parents, she will be deeply missed by her husband, Paul Potichko Jr.; daughter, Ashleigh Marie, and her companion, Damien Shoemaker Suarez, at home; a brother, Brian Eisenhauer, Kingston; mother-in-law, Andrea Potichko, of Shavertown; nephews, Brian Eisenhauer Jr., and Shawn Eisenhauer; nieces, Kari Lynn Eisenhauer, and Erica Eisenhauer; brother-in-law, David Potichko, and his wife, Andre; sister-in-law, Ann Selger, and her husband, Dave, and their children, Evan, Zach, and Sierra Selger. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life, Saturday, December 28th 2024, starting at 3 p.m., at the home of her father, James Hittle, 3 Ted’s Lane, Hunlock Creek. Her aunt, Sally Good, will officiate a brief service during the celebration. Memorial donations may be made directed to her family, to help assist them during this difficult time. Arrangements are in the care of Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad Street, Nanticoke.
