All of these years later, I remember Aunt Mildred so well. I remember the places she took us when Lynn and I were kids and teenagers including the band performances and dances at Northwest. She truly loved children and her role as Aunt Mildred. I'm so sorry for your loss.

So very sorry for your loss, I’m a graduate of Northwest Area and remember her fondly. Always perfectly dressed nothing out of place. Perfectly proper always. Pleasant as the day was long. Years later I moved to Nanticoke I ran into her again while getting my hair done. She still the ever fine and proper woman I remembered from years ago. RIP Wonderful example of independent and well managed womanhood for sure! ❤️

Always liked her ...she was always nice to me when I attended Northwest in the 70's ...I used to see her around Nanticoke when I used to work in the group home that was located in the Apartments on Washington St but by the time I could get her attention shed allready drove on ! She reminds me of my Aunt who never married either & was a librarian at Wilkes College for many years as one of her jobs ...took care of both her parents with our help but sold her familys homestead when the upkeep got to be to much for her but in the end until her health got the best of her she ended up moving from the country by us back uptown to Kingston ! They prob would have gotten along very well ! Hearing about her life makes me wish I'd a gotten to know her better & would have been able to have heard some of her childhood stories as I bet they were fasinating ! RIP MISS DZURIS as now u r home with Jesus our Lord & Savior & all your loved ones & friends whove gone before you ....
