◾I’m stunned by this news. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Steve was my best friend. He hired me at Genetti Hotel & Convention Ctr in 1990 for the Accts Payable position and became instant friends. I texted him on 2/9 to see how he was doing and he told me he was in the hospital. As soon as I seen that, I called him and as I was calling him... he was texting me don't call he can't talk. He knew me so well, of course when your friend says he's in the hospital, I'm calling him. We laughed because Steve was always the calm one in our friendship. He was such a giver. When I read that story about him buying a toy for that little boy, that was Steve. So kind and so loving. A huge heart. I tried calling him for a few days and no answer. I thought to myself something is not right. Steve always calls me back or texts me. Something told me to goggle his name and there was my friends picture. My heart is broken.
