I have so many memories of my Uncle Danny. He has touched so many lives and was always fun loving and caring. One of my most recent memories happened in Sept when my granddaughter was visiting from Florida. We were all sitting outside on his porch and she wanted to play school. Dylan of course was the teacher. Uncle Danny kept "acting" up and she told him I am going to have to call your parents. He said ok and proceeded to give her a phone number. She looked at him sternly and he started laughing. I could still hear him cracking up. After playing for what seemed to be forever she told Uncle Danny that he was good today and he was going to get a gold star. He said...but I want a blue star. ...again laughing. She finally said fine. You can have a blue star. He was so good with her and my nephew .He loved to be around all people and kids. Thank you for taking the time to be kind to a 7 year old....and Thank you for being an awesome person. You will truly be missed.

Thank you, Pop, for all that you have given to me and my family. There are a lifetime of wonderful memories that were shared. I still remember your working with me many hours to make a go-cart. I can't remember if it ever worked. You worked so hard to make life easier for me. You wanted all your girls to be happy. One wife, two daughters, five granddaughters and one great-granddaughter. You couldn't have been prouder than you were - and you showed it. You've told me time and time again that there was no one like my mom, your true love. I am happy to know that you two are together again, smiling down at us as you smiled on us when you were with us.
You loved to laugh and more importantly, you loved to make others laugh. You had the ability to do that until the very end. It always amazed me that even though your memory was not the very best, your wit was always on the mark.
In the last few days, I have had many people reach out to me to tell me how kind you and mom were and how their memories of you still made them smile. You have touched many lives and the world is a better place for how you have influenced the people that you met.
I'm sorry that we didn't get to celebrate your 90th birthday - but we will celebrate your life. To a great man, father, grandfather, great grandfather, father-in-law, uncle, brother, brother-in-law and friend. You will be missed but never forgotten.
I love you,
Carol
